Ophiopogon intermedians alba variegata 'Stripey White'
Stripey White
Description
An evergreen, clumping perennial with a tufted habit and lovely, mid-green and white, variegated, grass-like foliage. Small white to mauve flowers are borne in clusters at the end of erect spikes during Summer and Autumn. The plant grows in full sun to partial shade and prefers an enriched, moist, well drained soil but is very hardy and will tolerate less than perfect conditions.Withstands some dryness but does best with regular water during dry periods. Also withstands mild frost. An ideal plant for coastal gardens, borders, rockeries, mass planting and edges of driveways and paths. Great for providing a colour contrast in the garden and looks superb alongside blue, dark green and grey foliaged plants. This is a low maintenance variety once established.
